I love the poem How, and I’m leaving etrusciani behind and will look for some airport drawings to muse on.  You know, painter Charles Heaney did a whole series called “demolitions” of the lovely old buildings with the wallpaper visible on the side,–just as the whole building was being pulled down–I’ll try and find one.  In the meantime here’s Fiesole, again, 2005.  While I was drawing the leaf a lady was watching me and we struck up a conversation.  She was Irma Williams and I encouraged her to begin drawing immediately. Later in the day we ran into her in a cafe and she held up her new purchase–a drawing book.
